#ELKTOUR 2 - 2013 ALL COLORADO, ALL ARCHERY ELK HUNTING dvd video
1 State. 12 hunters. 4 elk camps
#ELKTOUR is all about filming the authentic hunts and camps of America’s Elk hunters.

For our second elk hunting film, we’re filming an All Colorado All Archery elk hunting movie.

The film will feature 4 different hunting camps from across Colorado. We’ll focus on filming 4 Colorado locals, 4 traditional bowhunters from the British Bowhunter Association in England and 4 1st time out of state elk hunters hailing from Michigan, Maryland, Missouri and West virginia.

In our first #ELKTOUR full length feature movie, many of you related to some of what each hunter was experiencing in different hunting situations. Call or don’t call? Move or don’t move? Move faster. Hike in farther. Etc.

This year, many are going for their first elk hunt. Some have hunted many years but have yet to punch a tag. Others on the other hand, successfully fill their freezer virtually every year.

From rookie elk hunter to experienced elk killer, everyone will bring something new and relatable to the table. As a bonus, I will also hunt and attempt to kill my first elk.

If you’re looking for a different kind of elk hunting film, I’d love for you to watch what me and my friends experience.
We just missed the deadline for submitting #ELKTOUR, our first ever elk hunting film, for the 2013 FDFT. However, we look forward to getting our 2nd bowhunting elk film, #ELKTOUR 2, submitted for the 2014 Full Draw Film Tour. We may even get in an extra BONUS Elk Hunt or two ;)

This was an awesome movie that really showed what it was like to be out there in a DIY hunting manner. When can we expect the second movie??

Three or four days later we nearly got washed out of our tents there in the biggest and longest thunderstorm I have experienced Rudy, thought we might see if the Elk had returned from our previous encounter....no such luck. ......... We tracked where they had lighted out of there over the high ridge and into a hidden Valley at the top of the well known trail, found where the Elk had bedded on some very steep slopes, all good for next time. That same evening we found ourselves in a huge rock bowl at timberline, when 'Thor' decided to show us who was boss and we ended up taking a three and a half hour route march back to the yurt as Dave's down bag was soaked...shame, as the place stunk of Elk.

No mate, Myself and Andy covered some miles on the Thursday, getting to a great spot at 10'360ft before a real bad hail, Thunder and lightening storm caused us to retreat. My sleeping bag got soaked in the process, so we had to return to camp to dry it out. We found a great area on the way back, BUT due to a dead carcass being in the same area(smell was awful), we thought it better to retreat than set-up, just so we did not disturb anything that might visit or already be feeding on the carcass.

Hi Rusty! Thanks for your comment. I live in Colorado and love Colorado. If you are referring to some of the new gun laws made by a-holes, I hear you. But that should not stop any hunter from pursuing their passion for hunting in Colorado. Too many out of state hunters jump to conclusions and throw fits and tantrums about not wanting to hunt here because of that, that is on them. They are only hurting themselves and local mom and pop businesses that rely on seasonal hunting traffic. I will continue to support my local businesses here in CO. Btw, I hear more hunters applied for hunting applications this year than last. Thanks for stopping by.

Wondering why you would want to hunt or spend money in Colorado......I refuse to set foot in the state.
