#ELKTOUR - 8/25-9/23

#ELKTOUR is all about filming America’s Elk hunters, One at a Time. These are folks like you and me, who take vacation days to hunt DIY style on our amazing public lands in the Western United States.

For our first #ELKTOUR Film, it’s going to be a family affair. I’ll film Emily and Troy from Colorado Springs, a husband and wife team that lives the great outdoors. We’ll be hunting in the backountry in North West Colorado opening week of Colorado Archery Elk season.

Our next stop will introduce us to brothers Eric and Nathan from Dolores, Colorado. Eric is the founder of www.DIYbowhunter.com. Both are die-hard bowhunters who hunt together to increase their odds of connecting on Elk and other animals all over the country.

Our journey concludes in the deep backcountry of Island Park, Idaho where I’ll film brothers Dustin and Kevin along with other family members as we hope to capture a majestic Elk miles from the nearest road.

Everyone has a unique story to tell as well as their own hunting camp traditions. Maybe we’ll get lucky and get an Elk on one or all of our trips. Either way, I plan on capturing it all as authentically as I can and delivering a story that each one of you can relate to.
The goal is to submit our first #ELKTOUR DVD to the 2013 Full Draw Film Tour and offer it in a limited run release.
