According to Deer & Deer Hunting, you’ll see plenty of hard chasing from December 21st till the end of the year. It’ll all happen after the 3rd full moon.
It’s always great to know when it’s the optimal time of the year to be in the woods. But for many of us, we just don’t have the luxury to plan our hunts based on that timetable. Instead, we hit the woods when we can. We’ll take off when we can. For me, anytime you get a chance hit the woods is a good time.

I was going through my DVR and catching up on some hunting shows and decided to watch Deer & Deer Hunting. In my opinion, one of the best deer hunting shows on television today.
According to D&DH, for the north, this year will be the latest full moon Rut well ever see in out lifetimes. The peak is happening right now. From November 21st till the end of Thanksgiving week which ends on the 28th, the bucks will be breeding the does. There is no better time to be in the woods! Sadly, this is a week that I will not be in the woods 
So if you have the opportunity to hunt this week, go for it.
